Welcome to Pad Mark -- a gimmick that allows you to visually penetrate and move a Pad Mark (similar to a book mark) right to a page indicating the spectator's selected card.
The spectator selects a card and it gets lost in the deck. You then introduce a pad with a lace marker. After a little shake, the lace marker penetrates into every layer of the pad, and lands right on a page indicating the spectator's selected card.
