A beautiful wooden box is shown to the spectator. The spectator can inspect it. While the magician's back is turned the spectator places an object in the box, closes the lid and ties a rope around the box. The magician without opening the box will immediately be able to name the object. Any object small enough to fit the inside of the box can be used, such as a watch, deck of cards wallet, etc.
